Boosts sales.

Shows professionalism..

Reaches a much larger audience.

Provides a starting point and core of online marketing.

So...

What kind of website do you need?

Simple Website

Simple websites are often used to provide a business with a basic online presence to supply clients or customers with information.

These websites often require little to no maintenance and the content and information found on the website will stay the same unless the client or developer manually changes it.

Dynamic Website

A dynamic website contains information that changes and updates regularly based on a number of different factors. My website is an example of this. The portfolio page is a template and all of the information gets pulled from the database when a user views the page. These websites are easy to keep up to date and perfect for clients that want to manage their website content themselves. More examples of dynamic websites : Star Wars & Google News

E-commerce Website

An e-commerce website allows you to sell goods and services online.

Currently, there are two main ways to sell online, marketplace websites (Etsy, Ebay, Amazon etc) and your own ecommerce website.

While selling on a marketplace may seem like the easy option, there are many disadvantages to selling your products/services solely in a marketplace environment. For example you may have to compete with multiple businesses selling the same type of product as you. It can also be more difficult to build a solid customer base as many customers are more likely to remember the marketplace name instead of your business name.

With your own ecommerce website you have much more control over everything. Your brand can be represented much better with your own website as opposed to the generic and limited customisation you get with most marketplaces. Your products will be easier to find and market online.

Booking/Appointment Website

Just like ecommerce websites many businesses that require a booking/appointment system have many different marketplace options. For example hotels/B&Bs have options like booking.com and Airbnb. A disadvantage of using these marketplaces is that it can result in a reduction of your overall profit due to the commissions they take on each booking.

Your brand can be represented much better with your own website as opposed to the generic and limited customisation you get with most marketplaces.

Who are booking/appointments websites for?

Booking websites are perfect for:

Hairdresser/barbers

Tattoo artists

Beauticians

Amusement parks

The Process

Contact me!
Getting in touch is of course the first stage of the process. We can talk briefly about what I can do to help and a little about you and your business. I want to produce the best website I can for you, so after the initial contact I'll send you a 2 step questionnaire to find out more about you, your business and what your goals for the new website. This will cover things such as your budget for the project, your target audience for the website and cover more about your style.
Decisions, decisions
After coming to an agreement and finding out more about you and what you need, I can get to work on writing up a proposal and send it over to you. If everything in the proposal sounds good I can start by making a sitemap of your website then send it over to get your approval. When you sign off on all of the basics, contracts can be signed and we can get to work on the fun stuff!
Time for takeoff!
Time to get into the fun stuff! With the initial deposit paid I can get to work on designing your website. I do this in Adobe XD and can take you along on this process if you'd like. When all the pages are designed I'll send them over to you and you can take some time to have a look over everything and get back to me with changes you'd like to see, if there are any. After this is finalised its on to the development.
Development
In this phase we can discuss and set you up with hosting and a domain, if necessary. I can offer personalised recommendations and we can set it up together if you need any assistance. After you’ve purchased your domain and set up hosting for the website I can begin building your website using WordPress and any other software I may need. This is often the longest part of the project and can take anywhere between 2 weeks and a few months to complete depending on the scale of the project.
Welcome to the Cyberspace!
The websites live, we made it! When development is complete the website will be uploaded to your live server and available for everyone to see. It’s all yours and I can hand over the admin credentials or add an account for you depending on your preference. All websites by Cyberspace Design come with a custom interactive backend dashboard so you can focus on the important stuff!
